Red face Accessory line capable of 16amp load

In the hornblasters manual for the Shocker XL series, it states in the directions in Section IV...under circuit 2 about "Locate an accessory line that is capable of a 16amp load" Can anyone recommend a good source for this 16amp line? Thank you....Todd

Check your fuse box, anything above a 20 amp fuse will work fine.

Or you can run an in-line fuse of 20 amp from your battery, then run key on power to the relay. Turn the key off, and it all shuts down. Key on, and you're golden.

Most vehicles, in their fuse box, have a couple extra spots that say something along the lines of “ign accessory” or just Accessory and followed it will say the amp size. I prefer the inline 40amp fuse followed by a toggle switche. This way if you got in trouble and pulled over, you can kill the compressor noise while engine is still running!

if you go to a bigger volume air tank do you need to upgrade to a bigger compressor also?

I’ve ran one Viar 444C on a 5 gallon tank for the longest time. Only downside is, once you run out, you’ll have a LONG wait time till that tank is full brotha! But do what your budget lets you! That is the great part about trainhorns, you can start small and limited budget and build from there!
