Angry Compressor will not stop running

I own a Klein train horn HK7 with a 150 PSI tank and three horns. My compressor over the last few weeks won't stop running. I replaced the pressure switch with a new one but it still doesn't seem to make a difference. I don't notice any Leakes but can't figure out what the hell the problem is. Any help would be appreciated.

Klein HK7 with a 6350RC compressor
Triple train horn w/ solenoid
150 PSI waterproof air compressor
3 gallon air tank
Pressure switch, Drain valve, Safety Valve & Outlet Air Fitting
12 ft high pressure nylon air tubing

You either have a leak, or the switch is bad/not wired up properly.

Warm soapy water will find the leak. Check your wiring to make sure it's correct, and then make sure it's doing it's job by turning on/off properly.

ok thank you. I do not have a switch to turn it off - I have just resorted to disconnecting the power from the battery

The pressure sensor generally goes in the tank so it can read the pressure.

It would be in the wiring kit if there was one.

A relay would be something you add to use a switch as a master on/off ..... anytime you use a switch, you use the switch to activate/deactivate the relay since it's made to take the abuse. A switch isn't made to handle it.

so I clicked where it said "wiring Diagram" and the first thing that came up was a wiring diagram for a Relay. Its a little black box with numbers on the bottom of it "87, 30, 86, 85".

First off, are you able to read the actual pressure of the system?

If it stays below the pressure switch rating, then the compressor will continue to run.

If that's the case, you either have a leak or some other reason for not building enough pressure (perhaps a bad check valve if you can't find any other leaks)

If the pressure reads above the switch rating, then check the pressure switch.

Cheap steel tanks will tend to rust and debris can sometimes cause the switch to get stuck.

In the past, I've been able to blow them out and lube them up as a quick fix.
