Dual Compressors to One Port

I forgot about bigmike and you’re right, he does use 2 of our compressors. he always says how much he likes them and might be able to tell you if he runs them together or in tandem.

The air line to the tank is generally no larger than the line coming from the compressor. However, since the flow is much lower into the tank, than coming out of it, virtually any line that is at least 1/4" will work just fine. Its the air coming out of the tank that affects pneumatic performance most.

Dan, do you mean tandem (together) or dual-stage (one runs before the other)?

The extra line just allows more possibility for leaks, that’s all. Be sure that the line is protecting from chaffing, and you should be good to go. Since there is a check valve in the air line, I would think that you’ll be just fine.

I guess I meant dual-stage.

with how fast he fills 52gal in a few seconds to 200psi, I’d say he runs them in tandem.
