The one with the shorter line will sound first in a system that has enough airflow.
In a system that is lacking flow the entire system will somewhat equalize and the air will take the path of least resistance. Maybe the tee is oriented so the long run is straight through and the short run is on the “branch”. The air going through the branch makes a 90 degree turn and is a restriction. Maybe the horn on the long run takes slightly less pressure to sound. They’re not perfectly equal.
There are a couple reasons I could think of.
I think the solenoid is limiting the air flow. The reason I say this is because I hooked up one horn at a time to the regulator and it they sounded perfect
To say that you should hook up both horns at once bypassing the solenoid…
Ok so I just messed around with the tune of each horn and got the sound I wanted. I did it by bypassing the solenoid and hooking up straight to the regulator. Then I hooked up each horn to the solenoid by themself and everything was fine. But I’m still having the issue if the front horn with longer tube sounding first when I hook them up the tee. I will try to replace the tee tom.
Do u have any pics you can show us? Don’t know if that will help people here troubleshoot with you, but who knows maybe it could…
No pics right now I don’t have a camera around right now. And my car is about 3in off ground so it will prob be hard to get a good pic but I’ll see what I can do
mi advice is to place the solenoid in the middle of the car and cut the same lenght of pipe for both front and rear horn, Then replace the tee of course.
Ooops
Time for some shockers!
How did you exactly fixed your horn? with a hammer??? Then i still haven’t got how you solved your problem with two horns…
i was pulling in my driveway and i guess the curb hooked on to my front horn and i rolled over it. i say i fixed it cause now i dont have to worry bout tryin to get both horns to sound at the same time. I only have to worry bout one horn. And ear2ear i was thinking bout gettin some shockers or something but i like that no one really runs emergency air horns(i like to be diff).
Oooh man that sucks. Sry.
I freaking LOVE fire truck air horns, I’d love to get my hands on some, but they’re expensive as hell. I can’t even justify real train horns
Expensive??? I paid 66 bucks + shipping mine. (claimed as blemished).

now they changed the price to $69 (blemished) but still affordable.
I just got to Florida yest and had alot of fun with my horn in the tunnel in Alabama. I had about 2000psi in the tank and when I got out of the tunnel I was down to 500psi. And as I was hitting my horn I heard atleast 2 people with train horns hitting theirs
poop, It was like $175 after shipping for two, I think I’ll pass
