yeah I’m stoked - the guys at hornblasters said sounds great at 175 crappy at 200

Not necessarily true.

Amps peak between 110 and 130 PSI.
It is in the sense that the compressors will be drawing power for longer, but just wanted to make the distinction.
Here is the difference, I had mine at 200 PSI through the horns and I use 5/8 DOT air line so there ie plenty of volume 200 PSI>> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jo32_pZcZ70&feature=related
Here it is with it regulated down to 115 PSI >>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VGRrgMkXek4 Doesn’t sound so High pitched and I get much longer blasts. Still using 200 psi system but I added A 1/2 inch high flow speedaire regulator and I am now happy that the horns sound correctly and the proper amount of air is going through them before I ruined them. There is A reason the manufacture suggests these pressures. Just my two cents.
P.S, I now have the Regulator set @ 140 PSI as it sounds good there. Thanks,
Rex…
so the regulator allows you to keep 200psi in your tank, but regulates the pressure to hoens @140 ??? -
Yes. unless I honk it so long that I run it out of air. LOL
yep tahts right like y say 200 louder 150 loud and nice train sound…
