the pics of the horn isnt that clear but I should have took pics when the exhaust was out

I just ordered some dirt & debri covers from ebay for these horns but is there some type of maintenance I should do with these horns?

Give them a clean occasionally, especially if you have salt or other corrosive elements exposure, but apart from that nothing really. They are a pretty sturdy old beast. Unless you see issues there’s nothing really you need to do.

As mentioned, maybe just an occasional rinse due to salt spray in winter. If you look at these horns in their natural environment they really get put to the test on top of locomotives. They are built tough!!
