Thanks man! You know, I tell people I put a train horn kit in my old Toyota Camry and they laugh. But everyone on this forum has given me mad respect and encouragement. Great people on this site

lol, I got off work yesterday, some buddies said “Honk your horn” as I was driving by. They knew I don’t have the horns hooked up yet. I blasted out a jet of air from the solenoid, they weren’t expecting that, and they all started cracking up!

Finally got the horns completely installed. I’m waiting until Sat afternoon to test them though, I have some locktite curing with the teflon tape inside the fittings. Definately can’t wait! I’ll have a video up by Sunday night.
Tank mounted through the frame in the trunk. The airline exits through a rubber knockout by the tire well, then travels along the brake lines up to the engine bay.
This was the only way I could mount the solenoid. It doesn’t move at all though.

The kit sounds GREAT. To be honest, it sounds as full bodied as the videos I have heard with 4 horns. First time driving, I ran the compressor for like 2 mins. Honked it, and was like holy crap, I gotta be carefull with this. Then I charged it to full pressure. Birds within a 500 foot radius flew away. The kit is loud as hell, and with only two horns, the two gallons lasts forever, like 8 seconds or so.
I’m going to try to get a video. If its too risky, Ill just video tape it while I’m driving.
OK, this is 4:45am after leaving my 24 hour fitness center. The camera; a Kodak Easy Share Z1012IS is sitting on my dash above the steering wheel. It is recording at 720p, but clarity is bad at night, and photobucket down scaled it to 480i. Front windows are about half way down.
3 beeps of the stock camry horn, followed by 3 blasts of the shocker DX. Another single blast of the shocker, then a single blast of the camry horn. There is a building along the passenger side, so I catch some reverberation off it. Then I turn to the right with the blinker on the wrong side
I have a much cooler idea for a video, but I have to do it out in the country and risk running over the camera
