thats a big f*** bear
LOL…you should have been up in the tree stand with me in the wild wilderness of Saskatchewan Canada. We took a 2 hr truck ride out in the middle of nowhere and then over an hour on the ATV through bogs and dark moss-laiden forest. The guide drops you off and comes back at dark. It was an eery feeling being alone deep in the forest with bear lurking around.
Did you eat the meat and if so what does bear taste like?
Gee, could it be the one right smack dab in the middle? Please don’t post those pics here because I don’t want to see Matt or Garrett naked…lol:eek:

Did you eat the meat and if so what does bear taste like?
Yes, we ate some of the meat at the lodge. It pretty much tasted like roast beef. It was stringy and pretty moist. The cook had it in a pressure cooker for almost 2 days. We also had Moose sausage which was a little different tasting. The rest of the meat was donated to some of the locals in town. I made sure nothing went to waste. I am a big advocate of eating what you harvest.
