Hey, I’m hooking up my new kit today and am wondering about what I have read on wiring this thing. I planned to run keyed power to the relay then out to the compressor with 12v from bat. thru the relay. On my kit the pressure switch and the compressor are prewired together. I have read that that is hard on the pressure switch? What now? If I change the factory wiring it will void the warrenty. I will be using an off, on, momentary switch to turn on the pump and blow the horn with mom. with keyed power. Thanks Mark
If you add a relay, then you’re just protecting the pressure switch.
That should not void the warranty - unless you make the connections with bubble gum soaked in gasoline…
