2010 Tacoma accessory wire

I’m getting the Shocker Classic 228VX Train Horn Kit this week and have been planning out the install. The only part I can’t figure out is the accessory wire to the pressure switch. Is an accessory wire just the power wire going to for example the radio or is there an actual accessory wire I have to find? Also if anyone with a tacoma has done this before it would be great if you can tell me which wire to tap into.

Thanks,

Loud One

accesory wire is just an ignition wire… Meaning the compressor will turn on when the ignition it on, not having a chance to turn on when vehicle is off and draining battery / harming compressor.

Easiest place to fine an ignition wire is the wire fuse , radio fuse , etc…

Agreed, its an ignition wire.

Thats what I thought thanks for confiming.

Loud One - where did you end up mounting the tank and compressor? I’m about to ad a system to my 2010 Tacoma double cab. Txs.

I looked everywhere and there are no good places on the Tacoma. I saw someone else put The compressor sideways an the frame rail but I called horn blasters and they said that the compressors are only designed to be upright. I ended up buying a small truck tool box and putting the compressor in there since this was a cheaper route than a bed cover. I put the horns in front of the radiator with some modifying of the front stock grille. If you want to see pics of my install or need anymore insight let me know.
