Just purchased a K3 With #1,#2 & 4A bells. Was wondering if anybody has gone with the 3 smallest bells & how that would sound? Here is the space I have to work with. Was thinking of drilling a hole big enough to have the manifold stick through and have the horns facing backwards underneath. O
Have dual 480c’s & dual smc 15mm solenoids with a 5 gallon tank. The prius doesn’t have an alternator but an inverter and that supplies 100volts the 12v in the back but I am concerned it might drain it since it appears to be smaller than a normal battery. Does anybody have any experience on this?
Im tired of being cut off when not driving the f-250 with k5la’s
Any help or ideas will be much appreciated

K3’s on a Prius = PRICELESS lol… That silent electric motor gliding the car down the road and then Hooooooonnnnnnkkkkkk HONNNNKKKKKKKKKKK:D
Do wot I did, have them pointing downwards - apparently they are louder pointing down than directional.
First cut a hole… (ok, but not as crudely as this) (The hole was filled with expanding foam once the horns were attached into position, for extra support & soundproofing.)

Or mount them like this… you hav K3’s so they will be overall bigger)

Then add a little magic…

Good luck with the install dude:D
That would be friggin sweet.
It’s going to take some creativity, but probably doable if you’re willing to modify the car.
I don’t know about the power supply. Maybe talk to some stereo shops to see what they’ve done to hybrids.
I’m worried about the noise level as well. What can be used as a barrier / layer to deaden the sound in the car?
If you were to get those horns on that Prius you would be my HERO! I always wanted to see someone put a train horn on a Prius!
