Can anybody help me on what kit to get, i want the 240 just because it is going in my toolbox and will be easier for me to mount, the 540 i just think it is going to take up to much space and i am not sure if it is worth getting. I will do an air hook up to also run on board air, and i also was wondering if the 540 kit is louder than the 240 kit. Any information is helpful, thank you.
The 240 kit comes with a 2 gallon tank. The 540 comes with a 5 gallon tank. If you plan on upgrading horns from shockers to Nathan’s in the future I would recommend the 540 Kit. If you just want shockers and an air system that is compact enough to fit almost anywhere then go with the 240. The only difference is gonna be honk time. "A few good blasts from the 240 and longer blasts from the 540.
Thank you, i will probably just do the 240 because i don’t want a huge tank even though it would be nice, and i also dont plan on getting bigger horns anytime soon. Thanks again.
Could you not squeeze in two 2gallon tanks? The more air the better although the sound output is the same
i probably could, it will be easier once i know exactly where i want to put the tank. I like the idea of the toolbox to keep everything out of the elements but i only have 6 foot bed so sometimes the toolbox comes out. Which is why i am leaning towards under the bed, but i am not quite sure yet. If you have any suggestions im up for them.
2x 2gallon tanks should be easy to lose under the bed:D or bite the bullet and go for a 5gallon.
