I could go to about 50 posts and show you where “non-collectors” have said the same thing on this forum…
I’m sure you can and the people who said it need to get over it lol…
but it was most recently said by a “collector” more than once.
i always tell the people “IF YOU HAVE THE MONEY TO BUY A NATHAN AIRCHIME HORN BUY IT!!! BUT IF NOT GET SOME SHOCKERS”
how long u been pumpin 175psi ???
r they still melodious ??
have u tried 150psi ?
whats the difference ??
thanks
JaMES
I’ve heard them at 145, 175, and 200 psi in person. 145 is the best sound-wise (melody-wise). Once you get over that you start overblowing and it just sounds like noise, especially when you get to 200 psi. Don’t get me wrong, it’ll still sound like a train, it just won’t sound good to someone who knows what they are supposed to sound like lol.
I say you try it at 145-150 though. It will scare people plenty good if that’s what you’re trying to do. It’s not really a completely noticeable change in loudness at 145-150 vs. 200, plus you risk damage to the horn in the long run.
I ran mine at 150 was plenty loud…
175 about 2 month and nothing wrong with the horns loud as hell
i found a 180 onn egay > where r they ?
Don’t leave Ken! As been said about our “type”, you can’t make everyone happy, same goes for the non-collectors.
I woulda left a long time ago if I let some of the people on here get to me
First off you shouldnt be putting any one down on this forum…
doesn’t take a rocket scientist to push a button or pull a lever. making a fool of myseld would be blowing my horn at a mountain… lmao
It’s all the same still… honk a horn where you won’t bother anyone or sit in town and scare everyone…
Dangerously race your car down the street in traffic or race at the track…
X2! It was extremely hard to feather the horns when I first used one, still haven’t got the hang of it just yet lol
the problem is that thehorndoc takes his air horns wayyyyyy to seriously than the rest of us do. im here to have fun, show some pics, make some people piss there pants, write about it and laugh with people on this forum. everyone just needs to slow there roll down…
x2 calm down guys we are all here cuz we like train horn some to scare the crap outa of everyone and some to collect them
we all love our horns here and we all love the sound they make. it may be controversial on how some of us use our horns(all of us pretty much) and if you dont like it, then well, leave. not tryin to be a d*** head, but theres other forums out there for people who dont do what we do. am i wrong in what im saying here?
not at all to me…
so what was this thread about ???
haha. Im also frowned upon cause I make these brackets and enable the use of mounting them under the car.
Got a 175psi switch
