4 flute copper whistle!!

SOLD!

Up for grabs is my 4 flute Whistle!! I got this on ebay about 1-1/2 years ago and had it on my truck for about a year or so… It was only hooked up to 3/8" tubing via a GW clone metering valve @ 140 psi max…

Here is a video i took of it… It has a great sound to it i think and would probably be even better at a lower psi and 1/2" pipe or larger tubing to feed it … It has a 1/2" inlet on it.

It was on my truck thru a winter so it did have a bunch of patina on it which you can still see in the center parts of the flutes, but it came off with ease on the outter with naval jelly… A little bit of elbow grease and it will shine! I bet if you had a bench grinder and a buffing wheel that could get in the middle , it would look great! Truth be, i have no time to do it… I have a k3la going on my truck and really have no more need for this or room  Plus i’d like to recoupe some cash to support the airchime install…

Heres a bunch of pics… Any questions please let me know , but i am pretty firm on a price of $55 plus shipping … I think that is fair since it is less than i paid for it … I take paypal only - thanx for looking!

i want it but im not sure how i would run it with my current set up. got any ideas lol i only have a one port tank

one port on a 12 gallon tank? that seems strange… but anyway how bout putting a T off the port , run 1/2" line to your cab, hook up a ball valve, then out to the whistle…

I have the GW clone in mine , and the way i had it set up was only 3/8" line feeding the valve then i made a manifold up and had 2 shut offs on there so i could choose horns or whistle… it worked great! heres a pic

wow thats pretty baddonkey let me see what this paycheck looks like if u still have it consider it sold

Yea it did work out awesome the way i had it with the 2 shut off’s… But i have no more room, lol…

Sounds good, I will hold it as sold for now since i have it listed elsewhere too… Thanx- jerry

If ewreck65 decides not to buy this whistle, I would like to buy it from you.

Did you mount it in or outside and vertically or horizontally?

I had it mounted in my grill , Ziptied to the radiator support which actually runs on an angle… I dont have a picture of it mounted tho…

Heres a pic showing how i had it .

The orange area is where it was strapped to . I only had it running on 3/8" line so it gave a higher pitch… Which still sounded good… With 1/2" line i think it would sound amazing.

hey man i see you are talkin to my neighbor ewreck about this whistle… he has no money lol what are you asking for this whistle

Heres a bunch of pics… Any questions please let me know , but i am pretty firm on a price of $55 plus shipping … I think that is fair since it is less than i paid for it … I take paypal only - thanx for looking!

Thanx - jerry

The “pull handle” valve, is that the “GW Clone”? Where can I get one?

Glad you posted pics of your manual valve installed cause now I have a question for ya!

I’m installing the same valve in my truck and I see you have yours bolted to the console. Is it sturdy mounted there? I want to install mine the same way but have concerns with it not being strong enough for me to pull on the handle, it seems the valve is pretty tight.

Sry to bust in on your sales thread man! Looks like you at least have it sold a few times tho!! LOL

The way i mounted it was put the bolts thru and i have some 1-1/2" fenderwashers behind it to support it… It was sorta a quick install of it… It is strong, not as strong as i would like it to be… I actually want to run a piece of steel from the seat bolts up to there to give it additional support. On the inside of the counsel , there wasnt much room for hands or tools in th spot that the bolts are but it works… If i have tome this coming week when i do my k3 install i will hopefully make it stronger.

Thanks. I was thinking of bending a steel plate and bolt that to the floorboard and then bolting the valve to it. Or I may take a look at my console closer and maybe sandwich the console between two small steel plates that I can drill and bolt through.

Hey did u run the airline thru the firewall or drill thru the floorboard? Trying to decide how to run mine.

Took it along the frame and up thru the floor… Make sure to prime any hole you drill so the bare metal wont rust

Thanks man!

ewreck decided not to buy it anymore… you are next in line  I will send you a pm also…
