5 chime- it works! New motivation!

So I got my compressor and tank, my 5 chime is over 5 years old and had never been sounded or cleaned (taken apart). BTW, should this be done?

Anyway, after hearing horns the other night and visiting my folks who had fittings and a Craftsman compressor/tank combo sitting out there, I borrowed it tonight.

Hooked it up in my garage and just let the dial build to 25 and, using a manual valve, gave it a go. Sounds SO SO SO much nicer than the electric switch.

So I have ot complete one other house project before I install these on a ALtima.

I’m pumped! Those horns sounded SOOOOOO good!!

first test…not yet cleaned.

Comments?

It doesn’t matter if the outside is dirty as long as you make sure the insides are good and clean. I can’t tell anything by your video as far as it sounds. That doesn’t seem to be near enough air for it, didn’t sound like it was even honking at half volume.

That’s how mine sounded with a handheld blowgun shoved in the port.
Not near enough air makes them just sound wounded…lol
When I hooked them up with real airline @ 200psi - I about lost it
