A Question (08 Sierra)

In the next few days I will be purchasing a K3la, and with any luck, everything necessary to get her up and running. My plan as of today, is to pull the spare and mount the horn up in there. As far as the air tank (most likely 5 gallon) and compressor are concerned, I’m still not quite sure. My main issue, is the bed is open, and I would prefer not to mount them there, I do have a toolbox, but I’m assuming I will need to drill holes to run lines, and that isn’t particularly thrilling as well. So basically, where would you guys recommend to mount everything?

This is the vehicle in question:

Thanks for putting up with the newbie in advance

well you might not have to drill holes, in the front of your bed check for 2 drainage holes, left and right, my 94 sierra had them and it fit the 1/2 inch line perfectly.

mount everything on the frame rails under the bed

Thats probably what Ill end up doing. Thanks fellas, Ill get some pictures up once I receive and install everything.

I put my tank and compressor in the toolbox. The lines and wiring went through a 2" hole i drilled out of the toolbox and out the drainage holes in the bed. That way the compressor/tank is safe and protected, although you sacrifice quite a bit of toolbox space.
