A quick install pic........my 2006 Chevy Trailblazer SS

Hey guys…

I previously had my horns installed on my 2007 Toyota Tundra. I got rid of that truck, and put my horns up for sale. I got a bunch of people interested, but after running into a few idiots on the road…I decided to install them on my ‘new’ truck. I picked up a 2006 Trailblazer SS a few months ago.

I’ll post a video of the horns later, just wanted to get this up there. There were no issues with mounting, the only issue I had was finding a switched 12 volt source on the rear of the truck. I even have a 7-pin trailer plug, but couldn’t get 12v with my meter on the power wire.

Anyways, they are on and working. The horns seem to be MUCH louder, which I didn’t think was possible. I think that is due to this truck being lower to the ground…I guess it resonates much more now.

Here is a video of my setup on the Tundra…

And here is a pic of the setup on the TB SS…

ha nice i hope their is something else holding them babies up their

Oh hell yeah…its 100% bolted in.

The zip-tie’s are what I used to hold the harness apart while I buttoned the wiring up. I used the same harness I made for my Tundra. Those zipties are long gone.

ppppppppppppp]

New vehicle eh? Looks good!

Thanks!

Yeah I have been enjoying them. They are much louder on by Trailblazer SS than they were on the Tundra…I assume its because they are much closer to the ground now. I guess I’ll enjoy these bad boys for another couple of months, then probably sell them.
