If you’re going for sound, neither would sound good… It would sound like a loud mess lol. Two K3s MAY sound better together but since no one horn is exactly alike, it’s unlikely to sound the exact same which could make for a mess of a tone as well. If you’re just looking for scare factor and don’t care about the chord it’s playing, it doesn’t really matter what you decide to do.
You won’t gain much volume having the two horns together. And as stated above, it would sound like a mess unless you could somehow manually tune them. Or Adjustable back caps to set the sounding PSI for each bell manually. Separately I’d get a k5 and a k3.
If you could blow them separately, 2 different horns would be nice.
i have a extra half inch valve i could run off of the tank to one of them and do that but i still dont have a air source lol im setting it all up
You could get away with getting one horn. A K5 and then making the 3a and 5 bells on a separate solenoid valve than the rest, then you could basically sound either a k3 or a k5. Just food for thought.
^^ That’s a pretty good idea. It would also give you a K2. lol
You could sound just the 3a & 5 like a super loud stock horn.
I have no idea what that would sound like.
Anyway you could do the separate mounting brackets, or 2 - K3 manifolds with 1 block off plate.
1 K5 sounds awesome!
