After 6 years my 450c possibly died this morning

LMAO! Thanks, that compressor has seen some action. Actually the 2 450C’s with a 10 gallons of air worked great. The compressor just whines real faint. I gave it a few shots with a semi soft face mallet to see if she was locked up. I quess I shall start the disecting of it. If not I guess a new one will be on the way.

Not to brag but (knock on wood) my single 380c is still holding up like a champ & filling 10 gallons of air no prob!

Well, I had the opportunity to disect the compressor, found that the whining noise was the motor running and the found the shaft was snapped going to the connecting rod of the piston. Time for a new compressor.

Wow, I checked out the pics and I’m surprised at how clean the break is.
