Question about Air bags??? Question is this, wot pressure do these operate at?
I got bags on my rear Suspension, I’d like to hook it up to my 8Gallon tank via 2 x solinoids… and use two purge valves to release the air…
Anyone got a clue?
Well my brother’s airride setup operated at 145 PSI and my friend’s airride setup is at 200 PSI.
Depends on your bag type. some can handle a lot, some just a little. I dont know where it would be, but you could check on the bag itself. just a guess, idk
yeah some bags are rated from up to like 120 psi. But some can handle all the way up to 600 psi. Best operating pressure will depends on the weight of the ride and where they are positioned on the suspension. You will probably have to try trial and error.
Thanks guys… Hmmmmm currently they inflate painfully slowly on a small tyre compressor, but it tends to be at full height after 40psi…I just dont wanna pop them by pushing 150psi thro them?
sounds like a similar setup that came on my cady, mine use strut bags and a direct hookup to the bags from the compressor
Stinky do you have a brand name to the bags can you talk to the manufacture? see if you can figure out what pressure they are rated upto? Take a picture of them if you can!
