air horn that sounds like a Nathan P3 that will work (and fit) on my 2011 Harley

Hi all
I’m new here. Do any of you know where I can get an air horn that sounds like a Nathan P3 that will work (and fit) on my 2011 Harley Ultra Classic Limited?

There is no way to find a horn that sounds like a P3 that can be found cheaply, but you can make a really loud horn out of PVC pipe and some other materials if you buy dozerboymiller’s plans. Here’s a clip of his M3 replica (the M3 blows the same chord as the P3)

An horn that sounds like a p3? well a p3 does lol

as for a harley install, I think the shockers would be a easier install with a small tank lol

Yeah looks like I’m out of luck on that one. Hornblasters has a P3 that I plan on installing on my Chevy but it’s like way too large for a Harley

That would be so cool if someone could produce train horns scaled down and still sound like their real counterparts.

What a sound, Horns made from Light fixtures and plastic plumbing pipe lol FTW

A follow-on vid that this bloke made… He has his K3’s mounted on the boot of his car and 22gallons of air… Awesome hahahahahahaha:D

Yeah for sure given time maybe someone will.

Welcome. The real problem with air horns on a bike is space for compressor, tank, and horns. What bikes need is a good way to simulate those horns through a loud speaker.

there was someone i cant remember who it was had a p3 seperated and mounted one on each side of the front wheel

Too bad the pics are gone…

yup that was it… maybe curt still has the pics…

Ooh…a BIKE! I think it’s possible…this person put a K3 on a MOTOR BIKE, AKA a bicycle with a motor instead of pedals!

I would still do the PVC horn option since they can run on a smaller tank with much lower pressure…you can even do that pre-assembled thing that Kleinn offers.

Actually I should have re-phrased the question when I first posted it. Of course the only thing that sounds like a P3 IS a P3. What I should have said was does anyone know of a horn that will fit a Harley that sounds like a P3.Note I said sounds like. A real P3 is almost too big to fit my Chevy pickup.

LMFAO
Got Earplugs?

Any chance I could get a list of all components used…that would work.

Well, same as for a car/truck, but scaled down probably.
Horns, small tank, compressor, fittings, wiring, switch, button or valve, gauge, airline…

Sounds good. do you know of such a critter?

I would go with a Side car. I used to have Shocker s4’s installed on my bicycle which I mounted inside of a bicycle Trailer and all I have to say is I couldn’t believe I did that!

here is the video. I was only Pushing 120 Psi to the horns with a 2 gallon tire inflater tank and a tire inflater V-air Compressor.

Look earlier in the thread. The PVC horn option is cheap, really loud, air efficient and you can mount them however you want to.

You have to decide how much you want hidden or visable. Look at the tanks that Horblasters sells and compare their dimensions to your available space. Maybe 2-3 gallons at the most (just looking at some youtube videos). Maybe use a Viair 325C. You’ll have to get creative and will no doubt have to make some mounting brackets.

Some youtube videos have everything consealed in saddle bags. Some are wide open.
