Air Supply question?

Hey my buddy is going to run a single 1/2" line split into two 1/2" lines at about 1 foot away from the horns. He thinks its going to be louder or something if he does this because he is using two ports on the manifold instead of one, i told him that won’t work, he needs to drop it down to two 3/8 lines in order to keep the same psi flowing. Anybody know for sure what he should do or which one of us is right?

A system only flows as much as the smallest fitting or restriction will let it.
You can split a 1/2" line into 10 more 1/2" lines. It still only flows as much as the single line because all the air has to go through it.

If the single port on the horn manifold was the only restriction, it would help…but it’s a 1/2" port which is the same size as everything else.

So if you want to add flow - run a complete seperate line from the tank.

Ok thanks bud, i will tell him
