Ok I want your thoughts on what I’m proposing to do. So the air system I’m looking to put on my Tahoe will include two 5-gallon tanks, and two 400c compressors. Both tanks will feed air to the k3 (which I still need to find one used) So a 1/2inch hose from each tank will merge into one by some fitting, which I need help to find a fitting suitable. Now I’m not sure what to do with the pressure switch. Should I have 2 switches, one on each tank, or just one switch with a dual relay on one tank to work both compressors?
All you need to do is connect the tanks with the same size (or bigger) airline that goes to your horns. So if it’s DOT tubing, use a couple PTC fittings. Rubber air hose - use barbs.
Basically that makes it one big tank with lots of ports. The only thing both tanks need is a drain. Compressors, horns, gauges, pressure switch, safety valve can be any port on either tank. So yeah, use the dual relay/switch.
