Air tank cover for bed

So i have my 8.5 gallon air tank in my bed and air zenith behind it i want to build an enclosure in an L shape so i can take it off easily does anyone have recommendations for covering it up

What about diamond plate sheet metal? Weld up a small box, make some cooling slots in it, and include an access door.

Plus it’ll look cool.

Not interested in a plain ol’ toolbox? The sky is the limit for what you could build.

I tend to agree that a truck box is the way to go, as it’s easy enough to remove and it arouses no interest/suspicion in others who observe it.

The last thing you want is for someone to see something custom-built and wonder what’s in it or decide they’d like it for themselves… and a stealthy or common/typical/unobtrusive approach helps.

So, a truck box, tonneau cover, etc. would seem wise…

I may just buy a cheap tonneau cover then a tool box cost more than a cover. its a little more than $200 for the cover i may get that then. My bed is so short i have a crew cab S10 and my bed is 25% Air tank and compressor, so it made me mad when i looked at covers that costed over 1K for a 7K truck…

Although I don`t have mine mounted in the bed.I do have a tri fold bed cover and I love it.I would go that route.
