I am leaving the country for a few months. what is the best way to leave your air tank? full? air drain open? kinda worried about condensation and damage to tank.

I’m not sure which is better but you might want to see if you can coat the inside with something like oil, after it’s drained, to keep it from rusting.
Prop the tank up by tilting the tank (may mean parking on an incline or popping the front tires up on a curb.
Open the tank, drain everything out.
Remove your draincock
Squirt in some lubricant (that won’t damage valves, etc.)
Replace draincock when you get back.
