Guys,
Here’s a little sample of what I do in my spare time with some of my collection. This horn is an Airchime model M5 serial #4022 from the old Pacific Great Eastern Railway. I fully restored this horn and my friend recently blew it running compressed N2 expanded into a 120gal air receiver on his Ford rig. Compared to most of you guys our locomotive horn honking rigs are rather extreme & outrageous - practically locomotives on tires! I exclusively use compressed nitrogen to power these massive chimes and have near limitless blowing capability with zero waiting for tank recharges…you must use restraint with these setups as you can easily rip someone for minutes…non-stop.
I’ll post pics of my extreme 1987 Chevy Silverado Outlaw honker in a bit.
Enjoy the pic - a great chime saluting Canada!
