I went to a local Viair dealer today and he swore up and down that all i need for a K5LA would be a 2 gallon tank if i was running dual 480’s. This cant be right, can it? I was thinking a 12 Gallon Aluminum with dual 480’s. WHat do yall think?

My guess is that’s if you want short blasts but very quick refills!

2 gallons would maybe get you about 3 seconds of blast time…that means about a fraction of a second of a full blast while it dies down.

12 gallon is perfect for the k5’s. plenty of air. 2 gallon is terrible.
