Another one of my buddies is joining the forums

Hey folks,

I’ve got another one of my buddies from the sandbox to join the forums. I was buying my K5 and convinced him to buy a set of Shockers after I convinced him to buy a diesel truck … yeah I know, I should just become a salesman because I seem to be pretty danged good at it.

Anyways, give him a warm welcome … he’s only had them for a few months and is already looking to upgrade.

His username is Headless_Horseman.

Hey marineone, thank-you sir for the last customer you sent my way. I don’t think I had gotten the chance to thank-you. Tell your friend I have a couple k3s and a k5 available.

Hey man, my pleasure …

It just wasn’t me that did it … the video I posted up on my Facebook page is what really did it.

Yo Cummins…
you can’t be peddling horns on here bro… it’s cool if one person has one horn to sell, or something like that… but it’s def a conflict of interest for Hornblasters if you’re selling horns on the forum, ya dig?

Can I do one at a time since I have THREE? it’s cool I understand Ppl have choices when it comes to buying train horns…I’m an individual you guys are retailers, I sell used horns you guys sell new horns. I really don’t see the conflict. But I understand. I choose to buy from you guys and y’all probably don’t even realize it, not horns but comps and tanks. I have also sent several Ppl in your direction but I never thought something like this would be conflict for large business like hornblasters.

The deal is, with the numerous individuals that are selling used locomotive horns, we have to draw the line. This does directly effect sales of our Brand New Nathan Airchimes, which we are the only retail distributor of.

The 3 horns that you sell, could possibly be 3 horns that we sell. By coming on the forum, you could find potential costumers that might have been interested in purchasing from Hornblasters.

It’s awesome your a customer of ours, and a fan of the products we sell, but we cannot advocate the selling of used locomotive horns on this forum, in quantities over 1. This online community was made for Train horn enthusiasts to gather and share stories, opinions, and ideas. It wasn’t created for people to use as far as selling items they have in their possession, in numerous quantities, which we consider over 1 or 2. There are other outlets for you to sell those horns online.

Keep up the posts, and being an awesome member! I’m sure you understand where we are coming from in regards to our forum rules.

I agree there’s no argument there. The used horn market is HUGE! for many there’s not a lot a money in there pocket for brand new ones unless your a railroad line. Out of the few for sale ads I have posted on this forum that were there for idk how long I have only sold one. So that being said I wouldn’t exactly say this is a buyer/seller market like you feel I’m using this forum for to steal your customers. You guys have the big hammer here so no more will be said or sold. Hope everythings still cool tho.

Wow, look where this welcome aboard thread went … LMAO!
