Another small problem

if i have a switch ran on my compressor and with a dead pressure switch can i still run my compressor if i have it ran to shut on and off so i can still run my horns till i get my new switch or is that a bad idea sense it will just keep building pressur?

It is possible to do that. I wouldn’t, though. You can possibly blow your tank. I’d just order a new pressure switch asap. If you have a guage I’d still suggest not doing it, but I think a few ppl on here have done that.

If you do, just make sure you don’t go over the max psi rated for the tank/horns

alright i mean isnt the pressure blow off set at 175 on my 150 tank so there for it wont blow my tank up and i mean it say it takes 4 mins for my tank to fill and its dead empty now i cant time it to get a little under my limit right?

personally i would not because what will happen is you will be driving and forget about itg going possibly…

Or lets say your safety blow valve malfunctions… you could be risking the tank… And compressor.

Just order a new one, go a couple days w/o… yea it sux but you dont want to risk voiding the viair warranty on the compressor.

Im not really sure what kind of warranty i have i had bought my tank used off twist on here.

I wouldn’t run it until you had a pressure switch. Its only a couple days man, its weird, I never had 1 problem with it. sucks

Just order a new one. Better safe then sorry.

I agree. Even if you have no warranty, you probably don’t want to have to buy replacement parts.

Why risk hurting your investment when you can just wait a few days?
