Anyone running a 12V compressor setup for a train horn on a daily driver?

I have a 2019 Tacoma that I drive every day, and I want to add a small train horn setup, mostly for fun on back roads. I keep going back and forth on the air source. A lot of builds I see online use a compressor with a tank, but I have no idea what size tank actually makes sense if I only want short blasts. I am also unsure about wiring a compressor that runs while the truck is on, since I do not want to drain the battery or listen to it cycle constantly. I read that some compressors need a pressure switch and a relay, but I have not sorted out what fits a basic setup. For those of you running a horn on a vehicle you use daily, what tank size and compressor did you settle on, and what would you do differently now?

Update after poking around more - Best Air Fryers & Oven of 2026 came up while I was comparing options, though it seems more about kitchen appliances than truck air setups. Still unsure what tank size makes sense for short blasts, so I’m leaning toward a small tank and relay for now.
