That was a buddy’s black rifle. I do not yet have one of my own. His magazine kept wanting to fall out, so I had to modify the way I held the weapon to fire it. C’est la vie, zombie guns are a blast… literally!
I will be getting my SR-556 soon.
Ahhh, bad mag catch or it needed to be tightened. I had that happen with my Bushmaster when I got it new; simply tightened it by pressing in the button and turning the catch on the other side of the lower a couple times.
Make sure you post pics of your SR-556, I’ve been looking for a new toy.

Unfortunately, a new clothes washer & dryer ate up the SR-556 funds recently - so I’ll be saving up again… I may be picking up a Russian Kalashnikov sooner than the SR-556 though…

We usually go shooting out in BFE (BLM land). Just about anything goes out there, but its starting to get a little too hot for the desert. Still, we’ll probably go out again in July. I try to hit the desert at least once a month. Gotta get moving on my AK purchase here real quick so I’ll be able to have it for the next outing.

I would love to pick up a Smith & Wesson 340 Airlite Revolver, in .357 Magnum for deep CCW, but they’re super pricey. For now, I’ll have to live with what I’ve got. I’ve got the itch to build a couple of rifles now. More hand cannons will have to wait. Loving my GP100 though! Freakin’ accurate as hell right out of the case! The Hi-Viz sight helped a ton with sight picture.
I love All of my Taurus’s never had a problem with them. But I prefer 1911’s. I have 42 of them. But just recently picked up a Springfield XD45 and it is bad oven. I have been carrying it every day for about 3 months and love it I got a Crossbreed holster for it and it is like it is not even there.
