what do u think is the best psi for shocker s4 to be ran at for best and loudist honk
Hey Dangerzone
I run my Shockers at 200 PSI and they are honking loud.
With 150 PSI they’ll have a great sound, too. But a little bit quiet by comparison to 200PSI.
Both sounds great!!!
But it’s on you to make a choice.
ok ok thats what got it at now now i have to get a electric valve that can hold 200 psi
to get the electric valve (200 PSI) isnt the prob! Hey, don
t forget the pressure switch, turns your compressors off once pressure reaches 200PSI. , or how you wanna handle it?
200 psi with 1/2 air line and 1/2 valve
sound the best at 150 but sounds louder at 200psi with 1/2 line and valve trust me
ok thats what im going with 200 across the board then to will be time to up grade to a nathan what u think lol
Correct. It sounds the nicest and most authentic to a locomotive at 150 PSI but is of course louder at 200 PSI. Just depends what you’re looking for out of the horns…
Anyone have a clip of them at 200psi and 150psi?
Just ordered my 200/165psi relay. Looks like Hornblasters got it shipped out already! God you guys are fast! Thanks for everything!
200/165 psi relay or pressure switch??? u will love it at 200 psi
ya 200 psi is better to me
ok, but wot are these designed to run at? I mean, theres a lifetime guarantee, but if ya running them at more than they are designed for, will that not invalidate the guarantees?
200psi still warranty covered right guys?!?!
Lol…(*he asks with a little uncertainancey in his voice)
LOL… WHEN I BOUGHT MINE THEY (AcroRigo , Garrett) TOLD ME THAT 200PSI IS OK NOT MORE THAN THAT…
Shocker XL kits are covered at 200 PSI. Newer Shocker Classic kits are as well.
If you have an older HornBlasters Classic Kit (HB4H), you may have to purchase a upgraded valve. In which case, I’d recommend buying our XL valve upgrade kit. You can call us with your valve model and we’ll let you know if the upgrade is necessary.
There you go… Job’s a good un!!!
