I am looking for the best way to set up this tank. I have one compressor, a place to hook up a air hose and a air gauge. Not sure on how to set it up. Thanks.
Is that a 5gal? What’s it going on?
Yeah it is a 5 gallon tank. I have a 480c compressor, and a set of K3ha Nathan Trainhorns.
what vehicle?
It is going in the bed of my truck. I just wanna know the best way to set up the tank. Where to put the compressor, air gauge, pressure switch, and maybe the quick hook-up for an air hose.
Heres my setup in my bed… 2-5gal tanks… 1 overworked but STRONG viar 380c … Compressor will be upgraded when $ permits
Raised up so sheets of plywood or whatever can still fit under.
Some people do a tonneau cover. Some people buy a tool box.
Either way your tank & compressor will probably end up against the front wall of the bed.
Just do something like Silvy did in the pics he posted.
Hook the leader hose to one end of the tank. Hook the line out to your horn on the other end of the tank. Drain cock in the bottom port. Pressure relief on the top port. Then you have the 4 ports across the tank for your pressure switch, gauge, quick connect, etc…
