Bigger than k3?

Well had the k3 a while now. It just doesn’t seem to be loud enough. It’s under a sled deck, with about a 3" gap all the way around.

Is there anything in a reasonable size that’s louder? I was thinking a t-3 but it’s rating is lower, than my k-3la.

I can’t mount under the truck because it’s a work truck, and I’m offroad lots and in the mud, I don’t think it would like that. Above the truck doesn’t work. I need the rack to haul things, and theft would be a concern.

Not really anything louder that is smallish.

You might just have to experiment with what you have. Have you tried aiming them directly at the 3" gap?

I would say bigger airline, but your 1/2" X .035 wall has almost the same I.D. as 5/8" DOT.
Are any of those fittings restrictive?

No, they are machined for flow. They are swagelok fitting I use in process at work. And the bends in the tube are gone with swagelok
Benders with rollers, so they don’t crush on the bend. Just curious. Perhaps a second k3. I’m getting 2 tanks built from 4" pipe for my truck, to total about 10gal. I’ll put dual comps, maybe a second horn is the way to go.

It also seems that with the tailgate down and a fairly clean line out its not as loud as beside the deck. Just how things bounce around back there. I find in the open I don’t get the echo I was looking for, unless trees are near by. Near buildings or tight areas it’s great. Mostly the big open areas and getting some echo off some trees 1/2k away etc.

Where would one try and buy a t-3?

Perhaps it doesn’t seem as loud because it’s only charging to 120 now not 150psi. Pressure switch must be fubared.

I finally tied in my onboard air hose reel etc. and was leak testing.

Unfamiliar with t-3…

Such a shame you cant aim these downwards! They would be so much louder.

Yeah, I just drive in a lot of dirt and mud. If I could have them along frame rail, they would bounce off truck, off pavement, and be more focused.

You mean like mine?
