Ok so I was driving around town, got off early today, and was driving by the high school and saw some of my friends. So I decided to give my K3’s a honk, scared the **** out of everyone, went on my way to Mc Donald’s to get me some chicken nuggets, and BAM! Four cops and a sheriff surround my truck. He told me he saw me when I honked it, and I told him “I don’t know what you’re talking about”. Then he asked to see them and I laughed and said “no, you got a search warrant?” blah blah blah then he said if he wanted to that a noise violation is an arrest able offense and he could have my truck impounded and take my horns!!! Is this possible? Can he arrest me? Can my truck get impounded and my HORNS TAKEN???

How can I hook up another air tank so I can honk alot more than two good times? A setup to regulate and keep giving my horns just a 150psi?
Also don’t like the hose that comes with the kit, not flexable enough.

If the compressor pumps up another 5gal tank won’t the pressure coming out be greater than 150psi?
And wont the pressure switch only allow both tanks to get up to 150psi? Leaving them both half full?
There is a difference between pressure and volume.
If you add a tank (volume), the pressure switch will still stop the compressor @ 150psi.
Seems like cops can do whatever they want at that moment - you’re at their mercy. Then if they were actually wrong - you have to sort it out. If they were D-bags they could impound a vehicle used in a “crime”. Take your horns from you? They’re probably not illegal to have on your truck, but they’re “evidence”. How effed up do they want to be?

It depends what state your in. But sure, they can charge you with disorderly conduct and noise violations ect. But im not sure about all that other stuff. Check your local laws regarding noise violations. In Pennsylvania it’s illegal to blow them (at least in populated areas) but it’s not illegal to have them by any means. All this crap about needing to have a warrant to search a vehicle is bull. If the police have “reasonable suspicion” then they can search a vehicle all over. And you can always say no if they ask to search it…but saying no would be very suspicious meaning you have something to hide lol.
you have the right to say no to search warrant… its your right… some cops think they are above the law, and some states are giving cops too much power, like ohio… ill never drive thru there…
also for blowin ur horn, i believe its just a improper use of horn, and noise violation…
Thanks for the replys. Yea I love the move over sticker, haha. And I gots a question, on the warranty, can a costumer return the horns if he’s unsatisfied? I.E. I can’t use them without getting a 100 dollar ticket.
OH well I love the horns anyway. Gonna find a better way to hide them. Who are you asking how old they are? I’m 19. Guess I’ll have to stick to blowing them in a different town. I live in a small town and they said if they hear it again they’re just going to come to my house and give me another ticket. If I get pulled over again I know they’re going to stick it to me. So I’m just going to let the cop get some and scare the ssss outta him. I’ll make sure I get it on camera too, lol.
Lol its all good, they asked to see the horns and I told them to go get a search warrant. lol I know better now. They tried coming to my house and I denied honking the horns and he couldn’t do anything! It was great, lol.
ha ha egt soe mate to get horns as well. how to teh horns go backwards is it poop your self loud eitehr from teh front or rear.
also isn’t it pointless have debris filters on rear facing horns unless u do lots of backwards hi speed driving?
In austrlaia queensland its legal to have air horns, how ever they must not be louder than what is needed to warn driver or animals of danger.
How loud is that well QLD police and DOT refuse to give me a reading other than teh exaust note reading. well i said it has to be louder than an exuast.
Once i get mine i am expecting a ticket or 2 at least
