Canadian eh?

Hi guys,

New to the game, found this place figured it might a good way to start. I’m in to the horns for the noise, and history. Love making noise. Started off big with a K5LA and I’m looking to see if I can expand my collection. I also want to learn how to work on these horns, i volunteer with a heritage railway running 2 Alco RS-3’s and a Alco RS-11. One locomotive has an old cast P5, a Nathan Holden M3H and a Nathan Holden K3LR2. The M3H and K3LR2 need some work and have passed the prime. Hopefully you guys here can lend me a hand and teach me a few things!

Hello and welcome!!

We all like making noise here :D, so welcome to the forum.
You’re probably already aware of this, but you might want to check out the Horn and Whistle board as well. There’s probably more info over there in terms of restoring and working on old horns than anywhere else.

Welcome to the forums!

Welcome aboard! I’m new here too. Just got my set installed and I’ve been chomping at the bit to use them.

Welcome. We’re here to help so feel free to ask questions
