Cb Radio PA Amp

Okay I have a uniden pc68ltw cb radio and a little 5w pa speaker in my truck and I want to amplify it. Is there a simple amplifier that I can plug in to my cb radio through the headphone jack and have two leads that I can tie in a whelan pa speaker. I want to amplify it like 100w. Please let me know if this is even possible.

i was going to attempt this, but it just looked to hard and not worth it. so i bought the shocker PA

this was my exact problem…

but first of all you have a 5w speaker…if u amp is to 100 u will blow it…

u need a 100 watt speaker first then u can think about amplifying it

dont need to add a AMP to the PA by all means.
just by the right PA

Been running CB’s since i was 16
Currently a peaked and tuned Cobra 29LTD Nightwatch with 109" of whipping power.
However just buy the correct speaker… they sell 100W speakers. just look for them. i had about 5 of them, but i’ve since then sold them to friends.
Only time you’ll ever use a amp with a CB is for skip shooting… and in the long run you dont really want to.

i had a 200W on my lightning for 2 years before it killed itself. Found the 200W on a older cop car. but cant seem to find them anymore
