Christmas Gift 480C

Well I got a 480C kit and a 3 gal tank as a christmas gift. I have a set of Nathan train horns from a locamotive and i am getting a set of firestone air bags for my truck. My question is what all do i need as in relays switches and guages to run this stuff, any scematics would be appreciated.

If you have an OBA kit and a K3 then you need some fittings, 1/2" air line and an air valve to make it work. If you have just a compressor and tank your going to need alot of odds and ends to make it work. Give hornblasters a call and they should be able to set you up with everything you need.

Your gonna need a minimum of 5 gal of air to be able to hear much of anything out of that nathan… Its a air hungry horn…

I bought a buddy of mine the 228VX kit with the XL upgrade for Christmas. He’s been saying he wants some horns for sometime, and now he’ll have them. We’ll get pictures of the install of them.

I have the Firestone Ride Rites and love them, but see if you can buy the bags separately. I highly recommend the AirLift WirelessAIR setup because it has gauges for the bags and air up/down in a remote control, so you don’t need to run air lines inside the cab.

I’m in the process of buying the WirelessAIR system and will end up selling the compressor that came with the AirLift kit, and the compressor, tank, and gauges from the Firestone kit.

well i have dual 480c kit and the five gal tank. what i want to do is run the compressor how they have it on the diagram i got to the tank but from there i want to run an air line to the horns and a switch to the inside of the truck, then i would like to run air lines to the firestone bags and an air guage and switch to the inside of the truck but i want to be able to air up and down in the truck.

I think I got it narrowed down that I need a high flow 1/2 in air valve for the horns, a 3/8 valve but this one i want to use for the bags and I would like to beable to dump the air from in the vehicle so do i need a special vavle? I will also need a guage for the tank and the bags so will i have to run air lines into the truck cab.

congratz, sounds like a nice gift
