im thinking about mounting my 480c in my probox

any ideas on where to put a compressor to drown out noise
ive got a 04 grand cherokee
the only way i could see putting a 480c in a speaker box is if the box has huge ports on it and the box is big and that the compressor head is far far away from the speaker
compressor are magnetic… i would not do it
and putting it in a box is asking for trouble. compressors get hot. and heat needs to go somewhere.
If you do this, expect a considerable drop in duty cycle.
If it were me, I wouldn’t.

if its a ported box, keeps the subs bumpin, the air will cool it
the subs get warm too…
