My compressor worked perfectly fine and then just started blowing fuses. Started out with a 20amp fuse, and it worked fine. Now its blowing 30amp fuses. Everything worked fine until I connected the compressor. Now the compressor won’t even tUrn on. I connected it to a spare battery with the wires coming from the compressor to check and see if I had a short and got nothing out of it. Could it be a locked rotor? Needs some help with this

What brand of compressor? Some of them come with a leader hose with a check valve and if it’s backwards or stuck closed I’ve heard it can cause that.
If its a viair the brushes could be stuck. When it is supposed to be running tap the back of it where the wires are coming out with a rubber mallet and see if it kicks on.
