So right now i have 2 480 compressors that are mounted to the bed of my truck which i do not like. i have some dead space where my cover rolls up what was wondering if that is a strong enough place to mount them. i have the pace-edwards jack rabbit cover. I want to mount them upside down under the plastic container. I have attched a photo of the piece, my only concern is that this peace is plastic and is about .8cm thick. Any thoughts?
upside down is not recommended and that isnt very thick for 2 480’s + the vibrations will be hard on that plastic imo
I thought they could be mounted any way? You got those rims on yet?
They can be mounted anyway, but upside down really reduces the effectiveness of the cooling fins (hot air rises). So excessive heating could be an issue.
ha yea had em on and now back to winter rims(stock) and he nailed it 
cool I’d like to see a picture next time you got them on.
