Hey guys I’m getting ready to install a shocker kit from horn blasters but I wanted to mount the air compressor and 2 gallon air tank in different locations of my 91 extended cab ranger. Will I need a super long leader hose or do you guys have any suggestions? Or is this even a good idea? Thanks everyone!!
Many have done it… Main thing is to have the stainless steel leader hose direct to compressor, and then you can branch off it to pipe your line to the tank… You do not want your tubing to go direct to compressor as the heat will melt it.
So what type of fitting would I need to go from leader hose to tank?
Welcome. You need “push to lock” fittings for DOT air brake tubing. One at the leader hose and the other at the tank.
