Confused sort of

Ok newbie here sorry but. I been reading on here and everybody is talking about upgrade. So they say that u get bigger solenoids and higher rating valves. So my question is I have the shocker 228vx kit, why would I need to upgrade? I think just so new to this stuff I dnt get it yet dam me

Don’t sweat it. It’s just the bigger is better thing.

Why would you want to upgrade? Because you can.
I’ve had my Grover’s for 7 years and they have been a great horn, very loud, never had a problem with them.
But, they’re not a Nathan AirChime, and a K3 is not a K5. I’m starting to think seriously about it.
My wife gives me the look, she doesn’t get it.
It’s the same look I get when I want to buy another gun.

LOL… Oh mercy! Don’t I just know what you’re talkin’ about!
I found a way to fix that though… put a set of Schockers in her car. She now loves it

The only way up from those is a real train horn. Trust me… you’ll want one sooner or later.

I think she’d kill me.

I’ve already been warned not to do that.

As stated above, upgrade usually means real train horns like Nathans or Leslies.
