THANKS. I CANT WAIT TILL THAT BLAZERS DONE ITS GONA TEAR SOME poop UP. AND MY TRUCKS ON BOGGERS NOW CAUSE THE THORNBIRDS BLEW UP. JUST INCASE SOMEONE NOTICES
Do you air those boggers down when going off road? If so, do you use automatic tire deflators? And if you have the budget, check out the XD3000 compressor for airing back up, running a 1/2" impact wrench, and your horns.
You know what that might be a good idea for the blazer. But itll get mostly trailered anyways. But if you could hook a brother up with a decent price ill think about it. Christmas pressent to myself :d
Dude, I’m very jealous. That K5 is friggin sweet. I had an OBA setup with some air horns on my '87 S-15 and it was great to have, always good to air the tires back up and run air tools if need be. Running 5-10 PSI on the street didn’t help for handling!
Good decision on the swampers, thornbirds suck balls
Thanks guys. Ya the blazers def. getting some horns prolly a set of dixie horns and a train horn. Im painting it general lee orange so gota have some dixies. I just email hornblasters and they told me not to run a 12 gallon take cause its over kill and u need 3 compressors for the warrenty. so i guess im just gona run a five gallon and 2 compressors. Or a 8 gallon tank.
I got a 12 gal with 2 x 444Cs filling it. Yeah a 3rd comp would be better and fulfill the warranty requirements, but I figure IF one of the comps ever go bad I’ll just buy another one then. I like having 12 gal available for longer horn use and for when I want mobile air.
well i think i figured out the kit im gona get. its close to my bday and the gfs like what do you want. so im thinking the conductors special with 1/2 lines an 8 gallon tank with two 440s thats should be good what do you guys think?
i hope so. i didnt realzie how big the horns actually were till i opened the box. hoppen i can fit the tank and comp. in my tool box and put the horns behind my grill
im assuming every install isnt as easy you would hope. well mines just annoying. had to buy more 18 gauge wire because there wasnt enough. not a big deal whatever. so im about to run the main power to the solenoid and i realize thats to short too. im like wtf do they think when they give you so much air line and not so much power wire. just annoyed because i wanted these done tonight. so i could scare the guys at the shop :-/
well I got it done!!! OMG I LOVE EM!!! i mounted my switch on the drivers side so there wont be any unwanted horning. and i mounted a light so i know the compressors on. i also noticed that since i took the solenoid apart to mount it. it leaks. i tried to fix it but i must of lost the other gasket or something. Other than that im extremely happy with them. cant believe how loud they are!!!
