Where do you find 12v ones! How do they work? Are they triggerd by a relay?
We carry a check / unloader valve called a “load genie” see if you can something like it there (FYI - they are extremely torque sensitive). Square D makes an inline pressure switch with the unloader function.
Cheers, a load genie looks like the most sensible option provided my compressor has enough pressure to close it. Now to find one locally!

They are a combination check / unloader valve. They check the pressure in a tank and unload the pressure from the head of the compressor for an easier start up.
