DC7600 compressor...

Anyone hear much about this thing?

Curious as to how it performs… or out performs viar?

My single viair 380c is filling my 2-5 gal tanks excellent right now… But i know it isnt meant to fill that much, so a new compressor is probably in the future. I would love an oasis but $$$$$$

A dual pack of viairs would be cool, but takes up more space and the voltage it takes to run them worries me as i allready think i am over powering my battery and alt with all my acc.

2 Viairs only pull 40 max at 200 psi. 444c’s are cheap in price as well. There much better compressor then a the 380’s. I only sell 400’s and 444’s.

Included Parts

  • (2) 444C Chrome Compressors
    Patents Pending Intercooler Head
    12-Volt
    Permanent Magnetic Motor
    Duty Cycle: 100% @ 100 PSI
    Max. Working Pressure: 200 PSI
    Max. Amp Draw: 38 Amps

The Dc compressors are good as well but big and heavy. They are like a tank as far as durability. I personally have no experience but I know alot of people using them.

My next build I was gonna use AZ but I decided on this. Lot less amps then an oasis, cheaper, but takes alot more room.

I have there DC5000 compressor. No complaints so far. You can buy them at airbagit dot com.

Well they claim you cant burn up the 7600… i wonder how it would handle filling 2 - 5 gal (10 gal total) airtanks…

Heres the foot print that i will be filling with whatever compressor…

I have room for 2 viairs ,

I would say no problem at all. That compressor has a high amp draw though…

I’ve added a odysssey battery , and am putting in a 280 amp HO alternator from DC power

The thing to remember about the overall current draw of 12V air compressors is they’re the same. The more they draw, the more they deliver, and the shorter they run.

All 12v compressors are not created equally. Before you buy anything from anyone, always do your research to see how that company handles their customers. If the overall impression is a good one, with many positive statements about the service people received - then proceed.

If not, run far, far away…

Silvy,

I noticed that one photo has two cross overs between your dual 5-gallon tanks and another photo only has one connection between tanks. Did you add the second cross over because you had problems with unequal pressure between tanks? I too am running 2 5-gallon tanks with dual 480c compressors.

Correct, the picture from above showing the one 1/2" line going over didnt seem like it was enough to me… So i added another 1/2" line and it seemed like it helped . I probably would have been better off branching a tee off the middle of the 2 tanks and going to my valve but it is cleaner this way, less airline…

My single viair 380c is doing awesome still for keeping up to refill the 2 tanks… I am very happy with it. Would like to go with a bigger compressor tho for speed.

dual 480’s would be nice but i dont know if both would fit in middle where my 1 is now…
