I finally debadged the tailgate and got the truck detailed shortly after. Let me know what you think

It wasn’t too hard. I used a heat gun to loosen the adhesive and then just used floss behind the emblem in a sawing motion to slowly get it off. After the badges are off there is still a bunch of adhesive crap to get off and I did it the old fashioned way with some Goof Off and my finger nails. Many people recommend getting a 3M Eraser Wheel to get the stuff off easier.
i used goo gone to take the dealer badge off my accord. Just make sure to test it so it doesn’t F.U.B.A.R. your paint.
brake cleaner would clean it right up
i had a windshield sticker on my jeep and i sprayed brake cleaner on the letters and they just fell off

I’d be nervous using brake cleaner on my paint… It’s pretty strong stuff…
