I am looking to buy a decent camcorder…range is nothing over 500 but just wanted some ideas. I especially want one that can take good sound for when I blow my horns…and NOT make it sound like they are super quiet if anyone understands what i mean… 
I’d run some Google searches for reviews if I were you. I have a Sony HD HDD cam that I love, but it’s a bit higher than that price range.
I’d love one of the new Nikon digital cameras that takes movies but I don’t know if they record sound.
