Decisions, Decisions

Hey ya’ll. I am trying to make up my mind whether to try to fit my P3s in my truck or to sell them and get a whole new system/kit. To be honest, the P3s just hang on the wall with a occasional demo toot for friends. I have been blowing these with a large nitrogen bottle with the regulator set at 120psi. Now this is all be routed through 3/8 inch air hose. I was told that I am not getting anywhere near their full sound.
First, all I have is the P3s and a Graham White 353 horn valve. I need to know what size tank, and compressor that I will need? Also what size hose and where to get these item?
Second, if I do go with a whole new system/kit, what are your recommendations. I know it is a “Chevy vs Ford” type thing as to which/what is best, but I am a virgin here. I know you guys have tried and tested and researched this subject much more than I have and I trust your knowledge. I am open, fill me in.

Okay, don’t jump on me, I’m new here. I just found the “Sticky” on recommendations, very helpful. But I am still open on whether to use the P3s or go with the Shocker4 kit. Has anyone done a side by side comparision. Or is it not even close?

well the p3 is a real train horn, i would stick with that and get a minimum of a 5 gallon tank, what is your budget?

Yeah definitely don’t get rid of the P3 for the Shockers, you’ll regret that.

This is the camparsion from Deiselsniper with a K3LA. It will be the same loudness with your p3 with a 1/2 airline. You will be very happy with 1/2 airline. The video don’t do anything for the loudness, just sound. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJwoW4WIafo

yeah stick with the real deal! Sound much better.

To be honest i think the shockers sound like crap. (no trying to hurt anybodys feelings)
I have a friend that drives a black megacab that has them under her front bumper and they are loud at close range but just sound real high pitch and out of tune. And from a distance they dont sound as loud as a real one.
