Defensive driving.......

So tonight on my way home i was listening to radio and they are talking about old people and driving @ age of 80 / 90, or in this case not driving right… So as im just about home, im not sure if it was an old person or young because it was dark out and the car was black w/ dark windows is approaching a stop sign on a side street coming towards the main rd i was on… The person stops and the sign, then as im about 2 car lengths away , hits the gas and cuts right out in front of me!!! I slam the brakes, and immediately reach over and pull the GW valve full open and blast that Fugger for a good 6 sec. He / she hits the breaks, and pulls off the road onto someones grass  I was so close to getting out and reaming this person a new **** but figured they are prob sitting in a pool of piss

So i continued on passing this person and they just sat there for 10 sec or so and then pulled back out onto road… I thought they might have tried to follow me but not… I almost wish they would have tried to yell at me… i would have blasted em again

Sweet!

Awesome! indeed proper use of train horn

Yes proper use. I remember time in the same situation except the soccer mom with a loaded van of kids had to run up on the sidewalk. Had she not done that I would have hit her. I couldn’t stop and had no where to go.

What are they gonna do chase you and tell you are an a55 for beeping at them. Nevermind the stunt they just pulled.

haha ive had this happen many times! my anger transforms into pure laughter

I’m a contractor overseas and I was home for a month over the summer. I had to tow my toyhauler/RV in for some service and got a chance to use my new truck doing it. Keep in mind I’ve owned it for 11 months before I actually drove it, since I bought it before leaving to come back here in the summer of '08 because they delivered it after I got back over here.

Rolling down the interstate at 65 MPH with a 7,000 pound RV behind you makes you look like a semi truck. It’s 31 feet overall and at least 15 to 20 feet high so you’d have to be blind or stupid to miss it.

Well, stupid is as stupid does …

This little import (I think it was a Kia, not sure) passed me up and then swerved hard and cut me off because they almost missed their exit. It scared me so bad I didn’t know if I was shaking from adrenaline or because I just sucked up a brand new seat into a spot it didn’t belong. My wife was in our other truck escorting me and watched it all unfold.

So I was “told” I was going to get the biggest effin’ horn I could put on my truck. You really have to appreciate a great wife.

This reminds me. I was giving blood today downtown, and their was an old guy with such a slowwwww reaction time. I was .25 miles down the road before he was accelerating from the red lights. It was ridiculous!

Definately a Win with the train horns.

I had an idiot completely stop at a green light one day doing about 50mph WTF!!! I pretty muched dumped the tank on his dumb ***. He got out of the way rather quickly.

haha nice scare

yes I too had to dam near empty my tank here in nyc on the west side hwy at this cabbie! Mind u he stops in the middle of the hwy (far left lane ), to make a right turn as other cars are wizzing by him @ 50mph ! As I laid into my horns, he snaps out of this assnine decision and peels off. He puts on the turn signal and merges to the right as most normal drivers are supposed to do.Again, train horns prevent accidents ! ! ! ! !

I also had an encounter with a taxi a few days ago. It was a two lane road, I wanted to pass him and was flashing him repeatedly because he was driving in the middle of the two lanes. when we just about entered a tunnel, I got fed up and laid on the horn until he went to the right lane. He had passengers at the back but I never got to look at their faces. probably soiled their pants.
